Summer Reading Book Club

Overview:
During Summer Reading Book Club sessions, students will engage with an Education Station instructor to receive instruction and clarification on all aspects of their summer reading assignments. Instructors will go over literary elements such as plot, setting, character development etc. Leading these groups, instructors will take the stress out of summer homework for our students in middle school.
Please note that a student’s book assignment will be in alignment with that student’s grade level texts assigned by the school district. If your student does not have a specific book assigned, or is selecting from an approved list, please let us know prior to the session which book your student has chosen.
What is required of my middle school student?
On the Hopkinton public school website, parents and guardians can find the summer reading list in addition to character worksheets that go along with the reading. Click here for more information.
